Annotation

This adjunct contains an Excel Spreadsheet that can be used for conversion between NCS Notations and CIE Coordinates Color Coordinates: L*, a*, and b* in either direction. It also gives CIE Tristimulus values X, Y, Z, x, and y. The directions for using the spreadsheet are given in the Annex of E2970 with examples of the calculation. The notations are based on CIE Illuminant D65 and the CIE 1931 (2 degrees) Standard Observer, with measurements in the di:8 geometry.
