Část 2-7 normy IEC 61249 stanoví požadavky na mědí plátované laminátové desky z vrstveného tkaného E-skla impregnovaného epoxidovou pryskyřicí, s definovanou hořlavostí v tloušťkách od 0,05 mm do 3,2 mm. Přejímaná norma sestává ze tří stran anglického textu evropské normy a ze 41 stran anglického a francouzského textu přejímané mezinárodní normy.
