Tento dokument stanovuje poměrně jednoduchou technickou metodu určování hladin akustického výkonu malých přemístitelných zdrojů hluku. Metody stanovené v tomto dokumentu jsou vhodné pro měření všech typů hluku ve stanoveném frekvenčním rozsahu s výjimkou impulzního hluku, který obsahuje izolované skupiny impulzů akustické energie, které jsou pokryty ISO 3744 a ISO 3745.
