Dieser Teil der Internationalen Norm ISO 3715 legt Benennungen und Definitionen für stufenlos verstellbare, hydraulisch betätigte Verstellpropeller-Anlagen fest. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Verstellpropeller-Anlagen, bei denen im Betrieb nur wenige, fest vorgegebene Steigungseinstellungen möglich sind. Das allgemeine Vokabular für die Geometrie von Schraubenpropellern ist in ISO 3715-1 aufgeführt und ist auch gültig für Verstellpropeller-Anlagen.
