Anotation

Eine Prüfmenge wird in Ethanol gelöst und die Lösung wird angesäuert. Die Alkanmonosulfonsäuren werden von den Alkandisulfonaten und den Sulfationen durch Extraktion mit Petrolether getrennt. Die Petroletherphase wird eingedampft und der Rückstand in Ethanol gelöst. Spuren von Alkali werden mittels einer Kationenaustauschsäule entfernt. Das Eluat wird mit carbonatfreier Natriumhydroxidlösung neutralisiert. Die so gebildeten Alkanmomosulfate werden getrocknet und gewogen. Die mittlere relative Molekülmasse der Alkanmonosulfate und der Alkanmonosulfonatgehalt werden berechnet.
