Anotácia

This IRS defines the following conditions to be observed for the operation of passenger trains consisting of locomotives and vehicles of the types listed in point 2 - page 10:
- maximum train composition limit expressed in number of vehicles, axles, hauled tonnage and train length,
- calculation of the total mass of the trains,
- calculation of the minimum required braking performance.
It sets out recommendations for braking in winter conditions.
It is addressed to:
Railway Undertakings.
It integrates in full or in part the following UIC leaflets:
- UIC Leaflet 410, 6th Edition dated August 2006
It aims to complement the following standards
