Anotácia

The International Union of Railways (UIC) develops and distributes International Railway Solutions (IRS) in order to help railway stakeholders, achieve further harmonisation and collaboration.
This IRS sets out functional, comfort and hygiene requirements for passenger vehicles with onboard catering services.
The requirements provided in this IRS complement and do not supersede the statutory regulations on the operation of passenger vehicles with onboard catering services that are in force in the relevant countries.
It is addressed to Railway Undertakings, Manufacturers and Entities in charge of the maintenance of railway vehicles.
It integrates in full or in part the following UIC leaflets:
- UIC Leaflet 565-2: 1979, 1st Edition.
It aims to complement the following standards:
