Description / Abstract: Applicable to wool in the form of worsted drawing slivers and rovings. Definitions of fibre lengths in relation to hauteur and barbe are given. The calculation of the coefficient of variation of both these terms is described. An annex deals with the Schlumberger apparatus for usage to determination the fibre lengths.
