Anotace

In conjunction with the publication of ASME A17.1-2013/CSA B44-13, this first edition of the Guide for Elevator Seismic Design is being released. The guide was prepared by the ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Earthquake Safety Committee. This guide is intended as an aid to the user to better understand the history behind the development of the latest building and elevator safety codes, the rationale behind the latest section 8.4 revisions, and the proper application of the section 8.4 requirements in conjunction with a jurisdictions adopted building code.
