Anotace

The International Union of Railways (UIC) develops and distributes International Railway Solutions (IRS) to help railway stakeholders, achieve further harmonisation and collaboration.
This IRS provides the technical requirements which are applicable to the combined transport wagons which are suitable for the transport of roller units for horizontal transhipment complying with IRS 50591.
It also provides the requirements for:
- the allocation to the wagons of the Wagon Compatibility Code and wagon compatibility level,
- the marking of the wagons.
It is addressed to Railway Undertakings, Manufacturers and Entities in charge of the maintenance of railway vehicles.
It integrates in full or in part the following UIC leaflets:

Güterwagen des kombinierten Verkehrs - Horizontaler Umschlag - Merkmale von Güterwagen für die Beförderung von Transportbehältern|Der Internationale Eisenbahnverband UIC) erstellt und veröffentlicht International Railway Solutions (IRS), um eine größere Harmonisierung und stärkere Zusammenarbeit im Bahnverkehrssektor zu erreichen.
Diese IRS sind enthält technische Anforderungen für Wagen des Kombinierten Verkehrs, die zur Beförderung von Transportbehältern für den horizontalen Umschlag gem. IRS 50591 geeignet sind.
Sie umfasst die Anforderungen für die
- Vergabe des Wagenbestimmungscodes und der Kompatibilitätsstufe
- Kennzeichnung der Wagen
Sie gilt für EVU, Hersteller und für die Instandhaltung zuständigen Stellen.
