Anotace

The first version of this document was prepared by the UIC Energy and Electric Traction Expert Group to provide the railways with guidelines for maintaining overhead contact lines based on uniform criteria and common objectives.
The overhead contact lines (OCLs) have been divided into their main components/parts to be considered for planning and carrying out maintenance operations.
At the same time the main parameters to be checked, measured, or observed and the operations/tasks to be carried out have been identified, as well as the data that should be examined to evaluate the condition of the OCL and to ensure its expected performance.
The second version of this document includes improvements made by the IEC UIC working group on the OCL life cycle. In particular, the standards cited in this document have been updated.
